Q Analysts Holiday Giving Donation Drive 2021

It’s hard to believe that the holiday season is almost upon us. It has been a long-standing tradition at this time of year for Q Analysts to give back to some of our local communities and charities. Last year, due to the generous participation of Q Analysts employees like you and our corporate matching funds, we donated over $9,401 to local and US national charities for various causes.

We invite you to participate in our 9th annual “Holiday Giving” campaign, which we have opened to our international employees this year. There are many charities from our global regions to select from to support. To participate, log onto your Paycom Employee Self-Service (ESS) Portal and click on your “Document and Tasks” tab. You will see “Holiday Giving 2021” in your checklists. (there will also be an alert for this under your bell alert icon toward the top right corner) You will also receive an email from Paycom regarding this checklist item being added. The Donation deadline is Friday, December 10th, 2021.

This year we have a special global focus on the famine in Madagascar. Currently, Madagascar is facing the first-ever famine induced solely by climate change, with over 1.4 million civilians suffering from food insecurity that need immediate humanitarian assistance. The country has faced four consecutive years of drought due to rising temperatures, leading to catastrophic food insecurities that were worsened by COVID-19. Many rural areas of the country, such as the Grand South regions, are widely dependent on produce as a source of income and currently face high unemployment, starvation, and poverty.

In the Grand South regions, more than 91% of the population lives on less than two U.S. dollars a day. Because of the significant reduction of household incomes, the use of health services has also decreased by more than 40% in 2020 as compared to 2019, preventing civilians from getting essential medical help. Increased poverty has also led families to take desperate measures to survive, which significantly affect women and youth including child marriage, abuse, and exploitation. For your donation, one U.S. dollar will result in three children being fed meals for a day. Please show your support by choosing Madagascar Famine Relief as one of your charities of choice for any donation counts.

This charity is available for selection in all countries.

  • Q Analysts will match your donation dollar for dollar during “Holiday Giving”.  This is your chance to double your impact during this campaign by taking advantage of the Q Analysts matching donation (if you donate $50, Q Analysts will donate $50 in a matching donation).
  • It’s easy to make a donation by utilizing payroll deduction! You just specify the amount and charity you are donating to, and the donation will be deducted from your paycheck.  Once completed, you will receive a notification through Paycom, which will contain the donation receipt letter.
  • Sub-contractors, please complete the form as well as mail your check to our San Jose office, pay to the order: Q Analysts and specify the charity you want your donation to go to.

We have designated regional disaster relief charities focused on aiding victims of all the chaos this year.  We had to restrict the number of charities we could support due to administrative limitations, so, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate individual charity requests at this time.

All donations will be in USD $ unless specified otherwise.
Anyone donating over $300 will receive a written receipt –otherwise, your receipt is your paystub.
The paycheck deduction date for the US will be Friday December 24th, 2021. These donations are tax-deductible. (Consult a tax professional if you have questions about deducting charitable donations.)

Let’s show our support for those who suffered through these catastrophes during this time of need!

So far, as of 10/27/2021 we have raised $1,500.

Thank you.
